First Edition
First Edition (& 1st printing). Octavo, original pictorial wrappers (trade paperback, but thin). 34 pp + 20 pp black & white plates. A nearly fine copy, nice and attractive, unworn. The "Knapp-Hall Tarot" (sometimes known as 'Revised New Art Tarot') was originally published in 1929, a collaboration between illustrator & artist John Augustus Knapp (1853-1938) and writer, sage & teacher Manly P. Hall (1901-1990). This booklet prints the text of Hall's essay on the Tarot for the first time, as well as reproducing the tarot images in black & white.
