    Hardcover. Condition: Good. The cover has green cloth with yellow lettering. 11 chapters; The frontispiece is a b/w photo of Rev. and Mrs. Ralph W. Chamberlain and Dwight. In the story, they are Mr. and Mrs. Cameron and Davey. The top margin of the Characters' page has all of those names in handwriting. I do not know if it is the handwriting of one of the Chamberlains. The story's setting is Nebraska. The library markings are on the spine strip and the front endpaper. The top edge of the spine strip is frayed; the bottom edge is less thus. (I can't read the last 3 letters) on page before title page. Birthday Gift inscription to "Johnnie from Boboo dated March 10, 1949 on opposite page. No dust jacket. Covers show some soiling, rubbing, scuffing and faint red marker marks as well as some small stains. Edges show some bumping, rubbing, scuffing, fraying and wear. Spine shows some darkening, rubbing and fraying. Pages are brown and crisp from age and binding is a bit crispy and worn. Signed.
