Brown cloth with black tiles. An early reader intended for children between the ages of ten to twelve who are beginning their study of french. The preface is in English but all content is in French.|Brief stories, accompanied by simple grammatical questions and exercises charmingly illustrated by black and white silhouettes. Condition: Near fine. The whole is marked here and there in accordance with its age but there are no marks of significance save a small dark spot on the edge of the front cover. A previous owners name, penciled on the title page, has been rubbed out.
