Written by pioneering New York Daily News reporter Kitty Hanson, the book focuses on the activities and inner workings of the Dagger Debs (a pseudonym) of Spanish Harlem. Written in a bit of tabloid style, but also deeply observed and reported, it's a quite interesting portrait of an often overlooked aspect of 1950s and early 1960s youth culture. Gray cloth, 183 pages. The book has tanning of the page edges and the dust jacket has edge wear. Minimal sign of reading wear.
