Brown endpapers. 252 pages, tanned from age. No date, but probably 1880's. First title page has pencil notes about visits to Florence starting 1890 throu…gh 1921. Large chip to foot of spine (about 1"), chips to head of spine also. Bumps to corners and some rubs to cover. Pages have red-stained edge on all 3 sides. Pages tanned, but text clear. Color map. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Top of the spine is chipped and missing and the exterior hinges are cracked on both sides. The book interior is in much better shape and text pages are secure. The front hinge is star…ting to crack in spots but is still well attached. The foldout map at the title page is attached and in good condition with no tears. No signatures or bookplates are present, no library markings. The only evidence of handwriting is on the second front end page where an old price was once penciled in the corner and then later erased. Pages are mildly toned due to age and very minor scattered foxing is present.
