Unbound. Condition: Near Fine. 20 Gelatin silver images. Each is approximately 5.75" x 3.5". Some evidence on verso of having been affixed with mounting corners and two of photos have chips to one corner, a couple of others have creases, but overall well composed and very good. About half have detailed captions, several have the… name stamp of photographer Harold Abbott Titcomb, and a number have date stamps from Autumn, 1924, mostly on the versos. 2o images of working cowboys at the Tibbal Ranch in Wyoming in 1924 identifying several of the cowboys including Jack Titcomb, Harold Titcomb, an elderly Mr. Tibbals, and others referred to only by first names: Old Rusty. Doc, etc. Unlike most such images, these appear to be of working cowboys and not dude ranchers. They depict calf roping, branding, bulls, bronc busting, a string of horses and men on a hunting trip in the Wind River Mountains (where they pose with an 800 lb elk), a desolate campsite, and similar images.
