Dust jacket has several small chips, nicks and short closed tears at edges. Front flap is price clipped from the top front corner and appears to have had the front most ¼ inch neatly trimmed either as a printer defect or as the sresult of an unexplainable action by the original owner. The flap is trimmed close up against the text of the text describing the narrative of the book. Still a very handsome and neat copy, uncommon in dust jacketed 1st edition examples.
