Stock exceedingly brittle and browned due to inferior paper quality, leaves almost all separated at spine (but still present), small chips to margins including one affecting the word "Dixie" on upper cover. Good at best. Pamphlet distributed following the murder of two Black men, brothers Charles and Alphonso Ferguson, at the hand of a white police officer. The brothers had served during World War II and the rear wrapper is adorned with a portrait of Charles's widow Minnie with their three sons. "They are bright, well-behaved little boys. They have no toys and few other children's necessities enjoyed by most little white boys in the village. Their mother dreams of them growing up in the kind of world their father fought for.".
