Contact seller5-star sellerHardcover. Condition: Fair to Good. Fair shape only or by small to medium stretch would be good. 3rd edition of this original produced in 1884 with only that date on copyright page. But, it has a third edition Preface as the latest preface in the text. Git decorated blue hardcover with Indian chief and maiden on front cover in g…ilt along with other gilt titles and decorations. Inside hinges cracked - yet tight. Complete but, wear is obvious and some of the plates have a little edge and slight other wear also - yet all in all a decent enough condition and kind of cool looking thus and worthwhile if not a perfectionist: with the great Dore' illustrations as full plates. Price adjusted and will include the cost of extra safe and prompt shipping via USPS media mail. Gustave Dore (illustrator).
