Hardcover. Condition: Fine. 48 pp., one tip-in reproduction, 8vo, paper-covered boards. A gathering of six essays by type designer and stamp engraver Samuel Louis "Sem" Hartz (1912-1995), issued on the occasion of his 80th birthday. Three of the essays are in English, the other three in Dutch. One of 475 copies (of a total edition of 510). With a lengthy presentation inscription to Rowley Atterbury (1920-2011), founder of the Westerham Press in England. It closes with "Haarlem, 1992" without a signature, but the wording and context point to Hartz as the presenter. Uncommon.
