Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. First Edition. INSCRIBED on front free endpaper by chairman of the selection committee, Stacey Hasner Hall. Inscription reads, "With much love to Eula. Stacey Hasner Hall June 21 - 1942." Ships same or next business day. Spine is slightly loose. Tail edge of front board is slightly faded. Small dents in middle of front board, shallow dents on fore-edge of front board. Small bumps on corners and spine ends. Small damp stain on fore-edge of front free endpaper to the dedication page. Tanning to endpapers and pages. Text is clean. Some wearing to edges of pages. Dust jacket protected in archival cover. DJ has edge and shelf wear. Chips and tears on corners and spine ends. Bottom 1.5-inches of front cover are torn away, partially affects subtitle. 5-inch tear that goes from spine to middle of back cover. Large chips on head edge of front cover and spine head. Faded on spine and edges. Small damp stains. Tape on interior at stress points. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 238 pages; Signed by Author.
