Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Hays was the Gerald Wingrove of his day, the master scratch-model maker who's creations were habitually used by motor clubs as trophies at the time - hence the title. The most famous now is probably the POMEROY MEMORIAL fought for every spring in a unique event at Silverstone. This book tells the tale of each model from ERA to Bentley, how it was built, and what the original car stood for, did and how it related to the trophy he created in it's likeness. Most unusual book and hard to describe satisfactorily! Very good condition book and jacket with some edge and corner wear and a small hole on the back cover/spine/hinge area , 165 pages.
