The book has water staining pattern to front cover and spine (from being at the bottom of a box that had been placed on a damp floor) otherwise new condition: no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, clean, no rubbing, no foxing, tight binding, never used. The dust jacket is in fine condition with no chips, no tears, no rubbing, clean BUT it was trimmed too short by the publisher (this same mistake in trimming the dust jacket was made for all examples of two boxes of the books shipped directly from the publisher). This book was acquired directly from the publisher and kept in climate controlled storage for years. The book measures 215mm tall x 145mm and has 352 pages, 17 b/w photos. This edition adds two chapters on California not found in the first edition: California Tours Along the Beaches and Coastal Mountains, and Skis Along The Crests And Life In Death Valley.
