Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Edition. Vol 1 322pp. Vol 2 358pp. Slight foxing on the first few pages, but very light, none to the text pages. Some ink stains on the spine (see scans). No "bumping" to the boards, some sun fading to the spines. Both have transparent protective covers. Many fold out maps. Some 80 pages in the Appendices covering various other aspects, like VC winners. All plates, maps and pages present and correct. The Guards Regiments have an enviable reputation for discipline when under fire and fighting spirit, so the creation of a Guards Division brought together all of these Regiments creating a unit that was second to none, They can be seen on Royal guard around London, looking immaculately smart, but one should never forget that it was a fine fighting unit and highly disciplined. All my books are scanned so you can see what you are buying, and my prices are inclusive of UK postage. Additional cost for overseas postage.
