Also included: two newspaper clippings laid in: a February 1947 German language article dealing with the subject of German immigration and responding to an earlier Haaretz Hebrew language article, and a 1976 English language article dealing with women pioneers in a Kibbutz that is mentioned in the book. One of the photos in the article is of a large wagon full of kibbutzniks sitting on hay, with two women in the "driver's seat" one of whom is about to administer the whip to one of the two horses. XII + 324 + Foldout Map. In an attractive hand on front blank free endpaper is an old inscription: Zum Andenken, Dein Siegmund.
