Unpaginated, four panels printed front and back. Text and illustration still clear and readable. A Very Good copy. A brief but charming brochure promoting the resort town of Laurel Dell, Lake County, California. Authored by Ida L. Heckendorf. Heckendorf provides a brief tour of Laurel Dell and praises its beauty and location on Laurel Dell Lake. She notes the town's hotel and cottages and how they are spacious and comfortable and come with all necessary amenities. She describes the outdoor recreational opportunities such as boating, hunting, fishing, and swimming. Heckendorf also lists some nearby points of interest, among which are Jessica Heights, Cow Mountain, Black Oak Springs, Borax Lake, Mr. Konocti, "Indian village near Upper Lake," and Bartlett Springs. Other aspects of Laurel Dell described are the abundance of fish and game, being a healthful albeit not health resort, conveniences, and rates for the hotel and cottages and tents.
