The play was first performed in Santiago, Chile on April 26, 1961 by the Teatro de Ensayo of the Catholic University of Chile, then by the same company at Teatro Espanol in Madrid on June 19, 1961 and in the Teatro Vieux Colombier, Paris on June 23, 1961 or the Fifith International Festival of the Theatre of Nations. OCLC locates two holdings (Univ of Miami and Univ. of Texas at Austin) of a 92 page version of Iversion's translation but no copies of this 81 page version.
