These little books are 5 1/2" x 4", and each has a different theme. This is two books from that set. The Bedside Book of the Art of Living 320 pages Bound-in silk bookmark, which remains undisturbed. With woodcut engravings by the British artist Frank Martin. This book has pressed flowers in it; I've left them alone. This book has darkened somewhat with age, but it appears to be unread. The Bedside Book of Discoveries 320 pages Bound-in silk bookmark. With woodcut engravings by the German artist Hellmuth Weissenborn. This book has more wear. There is staining to pages 137-152. It is quite dry and the binding is starting to pull a little.

Von 1956 bis 1989 war er Vorstandsmitglied und 1. Vorsitzender des Schutzverbands Deutscher Schriftsteller in Rheinland-Pfalz, des Verbands deutscher Schriftsteller (VS) Rheinland-Pfalz und des Förderkreises deutscher Schriftsteller (FöK) Rheinland-Pfalz sowie über lange Jahre hinweg Redakteur der Zeitschrift Glaube und Heimat. Neben eigenen Büchern war er auch Herausgeber und Mitautor verschiedener Werke, veröffentlichte Texte und Gedichte in Anthologien und schrieb für den Südwestfunk Hörspiele und Fernsehfilme (Auszug aus Wikipedia).
