Insgesamt mit 3 mehrfach gefalteten Profiltafeln, 4 (2 mehrfach gefalteten) lithographierten Karten und 2 gefalteten Tabellen. - Hellwag (1827-1882) wurde 1875 als Nachfolger Gerwigs leitender Oberingenieur der Gotthard-Bahn. Sein in vorliegendem Band detailliert beschriebenes Projekt der Bahnstrecke fand der höheren Kosten wegen nicht die Zustimmung der Bahngesellschaft und führte zu juristischen Auseinandersetzungen, in denen Hellwag obsiegte. Die Richtigkeit seiner Arbeit lässt sich auch daraus entnehmen, dass die fragliche Strecke später im Wesentlichen nach seinen Plänen gebaut wurde. - Stempel auf Vorsatz, sonst sauber und sehr gut erhalten.Please notify before visiting to see a book.
