Sein in vorliegendem Band detailliert beschriebenes Projekt der Bahnstrecke fand der höheren Kosten wegen nicht die Zustimmung der Bahngesellschaft und führte zu juristischen Auseinandersetzungen, in denen Hellwag obsiegte.
