The magazine will come with a backing card and will be carefully packed in a sturdy, flat box to ensure safe transit. This issue includes: "Vignettes"; "Artcalendar"; "In Detail: Piero della Francesca's Resurrection" (The luminosity and nascent realism of a Renaissance masterpiece temper its celebration of perspective and geometry) by Hellmut Wohl; "Captain Tyng's Trophy" (A masterful example of American silver, the Tyng Cup brims with historty) by Kevin L. Stayton; "'Le Roi Feneon' and the Neo-Impressionists" (As the first critic to champion Seurat, then as an editor and dealer, Felix Feneon passionately promoted the avant-garde in Paris from the 1880s to the 1920s) by Richard Whelan; "Red Grooms' Human Comedy" (With flashy color and energetic line, Grooms transforms the ruckus of life into visual spectacle--often frenzied, occasionally calm, always engaging) by Carter Ratcliff; "German Photography Between the Wars" (The tumultuous Weimar years produced innovative cameras and techniques as well as new ways of looking at the world that still shape photography today) by Jerome Tarshis; "David Hockney Sets the Stage" (Playful visual repartee and vivid color distinguish Hockney's designs for a triple bill at the Metropolitan Opera House) by John McEwen; "Recent Books"; "Collectors' Notes: Antique Maps" by Jerry E. Patterson; "City Portrait: Dallas/Fort Worth"; "The Art Scene" (Neighboring cities with contrasting styles, both Dallas and Fort Worth now boast outstanding public and private collections) by William Marvel; "Fort Worth: Museum Buildings" (The buildings that house Fort Worth's museums rival the fine quality of their collections) by David Dillon; "An Architectural Tour" (The pioneer spirit continues to flourish in downtown Dallas and Fort Worth) by David Dillon and "Index to Advertisers".
