First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. 72 pages (complete). A comfortable copy. Hemphrey was best known as a First World War Poet, and his poem "The Hills of Home" in particular. This is rarely found copy of Hemphrey's later work, most of them from his time in Africa. The boards are worn, scuffed and marked all about. The spine has, at some stage, been repaired with cloth tape. The boards are sound and sure. Within, the contents are a little marked from handling, here and there. They are otherwise clean and clear, convivial, charming, evocative and assured. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
