This copy has the four page section of "Notes and Corrections to the Glossary", which was issued separately in 1911. Old name on title page. A nice and tidy copy. Early history of Euro…pean settlement in Canterbury and Banks Peninsula. In 1837 Captain George Hempelman set up a whaling station on-shore at Peraki on Banks Peninsula.
