No Binding. Condition: Good. Date: 1950s/ Size: 26.75 x 10 inches/ Printer: Van Den Hende-Gand / About the poster: The artwork presents a clean, minimalist composition centered around a bold glass of amber beer, accompanied by the text: "Dégustez la Nouvelle Munich de la Brasserie Meiresonne" "Taste the New Munich from the Meiresonne Brewery." / Printed at the lower right by Van Den Hende Gand, a Belgian printer based in the French-speaking city of Ghent (Gand), the poster bears a Belgian tax stamp dated 1952, confirming its period of commercial use. However, the printing style and design elements suggest it was originally produced in the late 1930s or 1940s, with continued circulation into the early 1950s. / The Meiresonne Brewery was a historic Flemish brewery from Ghent known for its Munich-style dark lager a popular beer type in Belgium before the large-scale consolidation of the brewing industry. The bold Gothic-style "Munich" lettering and the luminous glass of frothy beer capture the striking simplicity characteristic of mid-century European advertising.
