Der Haken: Viele Firmen müssen bis dahin noch einiges an ihren Geschäftsabläufen ändern. Das sollte ihnen nach der Lektüre dieses Buches jedoch erheblich leichter fallen: Gespickt mit Best-Practice-Beispielen und am Ende jedes Kapitels mit einer Checkliste fürs eigene Unternehmen versehen, kann der Leser die Erkenntnisse der Professoren Kagermann und Österle auf seine eigene Firma anwenden. Die Autoren versuchen die Informationsmenge dadurch zu strukturieren, dass alle Kapitel gleich aufgebaut sind. Zu Beginn steht z. B. immer das obligate "Management Summary". Trotzdem: Das Buch erfordert Konzentration, es lässt sich nicht einfach nebenher lesen. Der Leser sollte auch bereit sein, sich mit einer Flut von Anglizismen abzufinden - die Sprache der Zukunft scheint Denglisch zu sein, zumindest in der Wirtschaft. getAbstract empfiehlt das Buch allen Managern, die ihr Unternehmen fit für die Zukunft machen wollen - und wer will das nicht?
