Quarter black leather with gilt spine titles and purple cloth with publisher's logo in gilt center; black endsheets; thin 8vo; 12pp; not illustrated; housed in matching gilt-stamped purple cloth-covered clamshell box; purple silk book-pull attached; limited to 125 numbered (#86) copies. Strangaard, a Danish fly tier and authority on Blacker, created this essay to accompany the FFCL's deluxe edition of Blacker's Art of Fly Making. The first 50 copies were bound in leather and numbered accordingly to match the other volume in this 2-book set. The remaining 75 copies were bound thusly and made available for sale. This copy in as new, collectible condition.
