Hardcover. Condition: Good+. Volume 1 only of the two-volume set. Ca. 1753 printing. Full original brown leather binding. Corners are worn through and slightly bumped. The spine has discoloration and where to the edges. There is a crack in the front joint, but the front board is attached firmly. Scattered foxing to the text, mostly in the page margins. The binding is tight. President John Adams studied this book and mentions it in a journal entry.
