It delves into the ethical complexities of the United States' occupation of the Philippines following the Spanish-American war. Teller argues that America's forceful presence in the Philippines is a violation of American principles and international law. He emphasizes that all people deserve the right to self-governance and that imposing American rule on the Filipinos is unjust and unsustainable. The book explores the historical context of imperialism and the broader implications of Teller's arguments for American foreign policy and the global struggle for self-determination. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
