First edition, inscribed, of this interesting memoir of automobile trips through the Pacific Northwest, Arizona and New Mexico, as well as visits to the 1933 Century of Progress Chicago World's Fair, and the California Pacific International Exposition in San Diego, CA in 1935. Carolan (1865-1942), was the son of James Carolan (d. 1912) a California gold rush 49er, and was a doctor, and later wealthy San Francisco stock and bond broker.
