Fifteen English sixteenth-century dances and songs arranged for one or two descant and treble recorders (or violins) with guitar accompaniment, a school ensemble edition. Ten of the settings are transcribed from keyboard pieces in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book, including three by William Byrd and Giles Farnaby's Fayne would I wedd; the collection closes with Thomas Morley's It was a lover and his lass, the song from As You Like It, printed with its words.
