Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Very good condition yapp edged soft cover. The yapp edges are worn and crimped with a couple small tears. The back cover has large crease across the top corner. Most of the pages are uncut and there is some toning on the text block. The binding is tight. The Diary of Pedro Fages a Spanish Lieutenant-Colonel that lead a war party into the colorado river basin to fight a community of Yuma Native Americans. The Yuma had killed several groups of Spanish soldier, Settlers, and missionaries that were trying to move into the area. This is telling of his diary that is in both Spanish and English.
