No writing, minor shelfwear to the cover edges and corners, a bit of black residue at the bottom of the covers from a previous dustjacket mylar. Unclipped jacket is good but with wear and shor tears around the top of the spine and a longer tear at the bottom of the front panel, some scuffing and soil to the black panels. 104 pp., color and black and white plates - mostly tipped in. Better known for his novels, Lawrence had a lifelong interest in painting, and his exhibitions often brought controversy.

Printed in the U.S. by Noble Offset Printers, Inc. Black cloth boards with gold, blue and red-stamped lettering along spines. Shelfwear to all eleven volumes: light scuffing along edges and covers, light tanning along page edges, very light spine fading. Volume 2 has a previous owner's name written in black ink and previous owner's bookstamp embossed on front endpaper. Volume 4 has remnants of previous seller's price sticker at upper right corner of front endpaper. Otherwise, the eleven volumes are tightly bound with clean and crisp pages. No marks. Volumes are in Very Good condition.

Scott, Alice Smith, and Amy Smith from 1907-09. In 1911 he was hired by Vogue and continued to supply illustrations and cover designs for the magazine until 1936.
