This is the story of the Nicholsons' work in Japan as Quaker missionaries and evangelists. Just before WWII, they returned to Pasadena, CA, and ministered among the Nisei, including eventually Manzanar Relocation Center. This book is filled with details of the detention and relocation process, including a map of all the internment centers.
