Top of text block's gutter is slightly dented. Former owner's stickers and inscription on front endpapers. Both endpapers tanned. Otherwise clean and tight. A collection of poems originally published in the INDIANAPOLIS NEWS. Contains many black and white photographs.

Covers exhibit light wear, bumping and soiling to upper and lower edges. Light wear and bumping to spine ends and corners. Light foxing and yellowing to inside front and back covers, ffep's and bfep's. Light soiling and foxing on page ends. Text is clean and unmarked. Inside hinge is cracked but still firmly attached. Illustrated with many interesting b&w photos. Illustrated dj is in a protective mylar cover with multiple small tears, chips and creasing on edges, corners and spine ends. Moderate soiling and shelf wear to covers and spine. Tear running the length of the spine. A collection of the author's songs and ballads illustrated with life in the city streets and byways.
