Vintage oversize satin-finish borderless black and white photograph of actor Charlton Heston holding his infant son Fraser up to the mirror at a barbershop immediately following what was likely his son's first haircut, with the barber looking on in the background, circa 1956. With the stamp of photographer Bill Avery on the verso, along with several manuscript pencil annotations regarding layout. At three months old Fraser was cast as the infant Moses alongside his father in Cecil B. DeMille's 1956 Biblical epic "The Ten Commandments." Bill Avery worked as a photographer at Columbia Pictures in the early 20th century, with a brief interlude working as a combat cameraman during World War II.
