Softcover. Clay and peach stapled wraps with color images and black lettering. 32 pp. with numerous bw images. Exhibition catalogue, divided into chronological sections of: The Smoky City, The Iron City, The Steel City, Carnegie's Legacy, MillTown and Epilogue. Each section contains essay material with supporting images. Included is a checklist of the 156 works in the exhibition as well as a separate, stapled-in addendum sheet. The exhibition stems from the work Younger did on her PhD dissertation, "Paintings and Graphic Images of Industry in Nineteenth Century Pittsburgh: A Study of the Relationship Betwen Art and Industry." The dissertation provides extensive and more in-depth material about the subject that complements the exhibition catalogue essay. VG. Clean and tight but with gallery owner's ex-lib. sticker and stamp.
