Contains (xxiii)- blank, 632 pp with with monochrome plates on loaded paper. Bookplate to the front paste down from the private library of senior plastic surgeon John P. Bennett, FRCS at Queen Victoria Hospital who first become famous for repairing Spitfire etc. pilot burns in the Second World War. John was avid book collector and personal friend of British Library Book Binder Bernard Middleton.
