Original publishers cloth with gilt embossed lettering to the spine of the book and embossed design to the boards. All edges coloured red. Light rubbing to the corners and to the edges of the spine - head and tail with some loss of a couple of mm to the head and tail. There is a repaired split to the cloth along the length of most of the spine of one joint. There is also a split to the cloth - just below the title on the spine - original publisher's brown cloth. The boards remain firm and tight. Neat name ink inscription to the title page. The book is surprisingly clean and tight. A very good minus copy.
