Add to basketSoft cover. Condition: Very Good. This uncommon magazine, "Business Progress" has several interesting articles, and a goodly assortment of period advertising. Published by Reuben H. Donnelley out of Chicago, it was distributed to business concerns for them to give it away, gratis, to their customers. On the back of this issue we see that Eggers, Caryl & Corrigan , a company selling truck tires in Utica New York, was the distributor. An address label is affixed to the cover (on which we have obscured the name and address of the recipient) CONTENTS : ** Death Flies into the Empire State - by Clifford B. Hicks [This is an account of the tragic accident that took place on a foggy day in August of 1945 : An Air Corps bomber flew into the Empire State Building, crashing through the 78th floor!] ** Instant Education [Excerpts from the Guinness Book of Records] ** What About Transistorized Ignitions? - by Jim Fitzgibbon ** Be Sure To See Custer's Last Stand - Anonymous ** Clouds of Sails - by Charles V. Mathis [an article on how Coast Guard Academy Cadets learn seamanship.] ** Spooner and the Post Office - by Henry K. Unger [About lawyer Lysander Spooner's 1844 crusade against U. S. postal rates] ** Who Gets the Worm - by Howard Keddie ["One of California's rarest farms is doing good business keeping birds in the zoo well supplied with their favorite food".] ** Keep Your Eyes On the Hands - by Lila Lennon ["Although you may be tempted to look elsewhere, it's the hands that tell the story in the Hula - at least that's what the experts say."] TITLE : Business Progress ISSUE : Vol. 2, No. 2 DATE : March - April 1964 AUTHORS : Various EDITOR : E.
