Scarce first edition of Hildebrand's catalogue of the remarkable collection of Anglo-Saxon coins found in Sweden held in the Royal Coin Collection of Stockholm. The coins of each reign are placed under the different mints arranged in alphabetical order, the different types being numbered. A list of the names of the moneyers and the towns at which they operated is appended to the catalogue of the coins of each reign. Illustrated with ten plates of different types and a fold-out map showing the localities of the numerous finds.
