A Fine copy in a Fine DJ. 1 lb. 4 oz. The ceramic ware known as sometsuke originated in China and found its way to Japan by the 17th century. Sometsuke wares were exported to Europe as "blue and white" pottery. Antique sometsuke, also known as ko-imari, are quite collectible.
