reprint card covers Nice copy octavo 72pp., An analysis of the healing properties of: Amber, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Turquoise, Moonstone, Opal, Jade, Pearl, Diamond, Jet, & Topaz.
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 2nd Edition. Uncommon hardcover edition of this book on the healing properties of stones. This is the second edition from 1962, following the first printing from the prior year. Overall a nice copy, certainly relative to its scarcity. Binding is solid, sound, square. Green boards are firm, clean, with just a neglible amount of rubbing at the very corners. There is a partially torn sticker on the front pastedown, likely bookplate of former owner. Much smaller sticker still present from Samuel Weiser on the same pastedown. Small bit of toning to the pastedown and endpapers at the gutters front and back, otherwise interior is bright and clean and free of any blemishes. Dustjacket is now in brodart, and has one quite large piece missing from the back panel, which itself is also a bit stained and soiled, and has some small chips at the top edge. Small chip at the head of the DJ spine and at the corners, otherwise front panel quite clean and intact, with some rubbing at the joints. Teeny ink stain on the front panel, not of great detriment. Price clipped at the front interior flap. Altogether attractive copy of a title that appears very uncommonly in hardcover.
