    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. "Library of Congress Surplus Duplicate" ink stamp on front blank. Spine has slight rubbing to the rear edge and tiny touches of very slight wear to the front corners. Rear free endpaper is missing a piece of paper approx. 1 1/2" wide by 1 1/4" from the upper outer corner, and has tearing to the spine edge. "X" in red pencil on front free endpaper. ; Handwritten explanation of the "Illumination and color phrasing" on the rear blanks, signed by the author. Author's hand done notes and embellishments in several places, in red, violet, Lapis blue, coral, and jade. Contents in three books: I. Song of the Past. II. Song of the Present. III. Song of the Future. Each in multiple cantos. Full leather covers, marbled endpapers. Gilt ruled spine and boards. Approx. 3" wide by 4 1/4".
