Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. H. Lawrence Hoffman (illustrator). 1st Edition. 8vo., 202pp. Sharp Stated First Printing. Square, tight and clean throughout with no toning or foxing. Mild rubbing to bottom edges and small bump to the lower front tip. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($3.95), has a tiny crease and closed edge-tear. A touch of rubbing here and there. Flaps lightly toned. Still fresh and bright and presents very well. Though not marked in any way, this came directly from the library of H. Lawrence Hoffman who illustrated the dust-jacket. His son, David Hoffman, the noted documentary filmmaker, has signed a statement with information about his father, the artist, and attesting that the book was from his library. A copy of this is included. A very pretty collectable copy of a surprisingly quite uncommon title.
