Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good+. 1st Edition. Near fine in near fine dust jacket. Slight edge wear and rubbing to jacket. Not price-clipped, no jacket chips or significant tears. Book has no markings or bookplate. A curiously odd book which draws material from the victorian era author Professor Hoffmann (Angelo J. Lewis) and re organizes, re-formats, edits, and in most cases newly illustrates with b&w photos. This hardcover edition is considerably more elusive than the standard paperback version. In fact, at the time of listing, we could not locate a single example of the hardcover that was for sale.
