1 Blatt, 21 x 14,8 cm. Maschinenschriftlicher Brief mit eigenhändiger Signatur von Gerty von Hofmannsthal. - Der Brief (Schloß Prielau, 3. Juli 1956) richtet sich an den Atlantis-Verlag mit der Bitte um Zusendung von Freiexemplaren der Briefwechsel von Hugo von Hofmannsthal. - Gertrud (Gerty) von Hofmannsthal (1880-1959) war die Ehefrau des österreichischen Schriftstellers und Mitbegründers der Salzburger Festspiele Hugo von Hofmannsthal. Schloss Prielau ist ein ehemaliges fürstbischöfliches Jagdschloss im Salzburger Land. 1932 erwarb Gerty von Hofmannsthal das Anwesen. Gerty von Hofmannsthal emigrierte nach dem "Anschluß" Österreichs durch die Nationalsozialisten und lebte ab 1939 in Oxford, 1947 wurde sie britische Staatsbürgerin, kehrte aber schließlich nach Prielau zurück. - Am linken Rand gelocht. Drei Eingangsstempel. Handschriftlicher Zusatz des Verlags in Tinte (Kugelschreiber): "Otto Müller [Otto Müller Verlag], Salzburg; bestellt. 5. Juli 1956). - In sehr guter Erhaltung.
