Soft cover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: None. G/N, used, pb, illustrated stapled wraps. Interior clean, binding firm. Wraps show mild finger soiling, a 1 inch tear to the bottom edge of the lower, which affects into page 23. This item is a 31 page brochure to get one to sail on their line. Illustrated by photographs of the various places the ship will call at. The center-fold image is a side view of the steamship "Vandyck" in harbor. Page 21-27 has images of the furnishings and salons of the ship. Page 28-31 has general information, government tax info as well as immigration regulations. The lower wrap is a list of offices and agencies broken down by country/city. I can find no date although the Lamport and Holt line was part of the "Royal Mail Steamship Packet Company" conroled by Lord Kylsant and which collapsed in 1930 but was rescued by the City of London and the Bank of England as the company had controlled approximately 15% of the British merchant fleet at that time. A scarce item.
