Dieses System hat in alle Pathologie-Dokumentierungsprogramme in Österreich Eingang gefunden. In die einzelnen Kapitel wurde die Kurzform der von der UICC herausgegebenen Stadieneinteilung aufgenommen. Einzelne Abschnitte wurden mit speziellen Zusatzkommentaren, wie zum Grading, zur Beurteilung spezieller Methoden wie z. B. den Hormonrezeptoren u. a. ergänzt. Mit diesem Buch wurde eine dem letzten Stand entsprechende, für die tägliche Praxis geeignete Grundlage für eine einheitliche Nomenklatur und Klassifikation geschaffen. Other weed groups could only be mentioned briefly (e.g. grassland weeds), or superficially (e.g. aquatic weeds), or had to be omitted completely (e.g. ruderals, because they are so heterogeneous), to keep this volume to an acceptable size and price. Nevertheless, nearly all subsections of botanical science have been treated.
