Het werk bestaat uit circa 86.000 lemma?s en een zeer uitgebreid corpus van voorbeelden en vertalingen. De lexicografische structuur is ontworpen om zowel semantische als stilistische nuances tussen Russisch en Nederlands te documenteren. Naast standaardwoordenschat bevat het werk ook jargon, krantentaal, spreektaal en combinaties van partikels. Een belangrijk onderdeel is het grammaticale compendium, waarin morfologische en syntactische bijzonderheden van het Russisch worden toegelicht.
