Books are sturdy and clean, front hinges starting but holding very strong, bit of foxing, one page has a small ink blot (pencil eraser size) affecting text, second volume has a bit of damp stain at lower edge/corner affecting the first 35 pages and has a bit more overall foxing than the first volume.
