Utica, New York. Horrocks-Ibbotson Co. [n. d. but 1932]. Sextodecimo (6 x 2 1/2). 12 pp. Text drawings. The title of the booklet refers to Chinese Tonkin Cane which has been treated with a Chinese "secret substance" and that Horrocks-Ibbotson called "Hexi-Super-Cane-Rods." The rod manufacturer claimed these new rods provided 25% greater tensile strength, more snap, sensitivity, no twisting, and longer life; in short a wonder rod: "A Chinese Secret that puts more thrills in Fishing." There's also ads for reels, flies, and lines. The booklet is bound yellow wrappers with red and black titles. A quite scarce catalog. With the stamp of a tackle dealer on the front and back covers. Very good.
